Lisa Ann’s Driving School only provides Training on these terms & conditions.
The Customer Purchases the Training on these terms & conditions.
These terms an conditions are important and should be studied carefully.
Lisa Ann’s Driving School will provide Driving Lessons as agreed in return for the agreed payment.
The Instructor and Customer will arrange and book Driving Lessons and pick up venues in advance at mutually convenient times.
The Customer is responsible for holding the appropriate UK Driving Licence, which must be produced on the first lesson.
The Customer is responsible for any traffic violations whilest in charge of the vehicle.
The Customer must be available for lessons at the agreed time and date, otherwise the full lesson fee may be charged. 24 hours notice of cancellation of lesson should be given or the full lesson fee may be charged.
The Instructor will wait 15 minutes from the start time of the lesson. After this time the lesson will be deemed cancelled and 100% of the fee for the entire of the period booked will be forfit.
Lessons that start late, through the customer fault, will finish at the time of the original booking and will be charge at the full hourly rate.
The Customer must be in a fit state to drive and not be under the influence of drink or drugs.
If the Instructor believes that the Customer is under the influence of drink or drugs then the lesson will be cancelled and the lesson fee forfeited.
The Instructor will at all times advise the Customer when he/she is ready to take a Test. The Instructor reserves the right to refuse the Customer the use of his/her vehicle for any DSA tests.
Lisa Ann’s Driving School can book Tests on the behalf of the Customer. If the Customer books their own tests then they accept the risk that the Instructor may not be able to fit the date or time into their diary or guarantee the use of their vehicle. A small fee may be charged for booking tests on the Customers behalf.
Payment for tests booked on behalf of the Customer must be paid in advance.
A 25% non refundable booking fee must be paid 2 week in advance of any semi / intensive course taken.
Lesson fees paid in advance including block booking discount will be held for 6 months after that time the money
is forfeit and no refund will be issued. Unless arrangements have been made with the Instructor prior to the expression
date. The Customer may request a refund of any hours not used before expression date. Any time used will revert back
to the full hourly rate(currently £19.00). Example 10 hour block booking taken for £165.00. 6 hrs used. 4hrs will be
refunded. £165.00 - £114.00 = £51.00 will be refunded.
If books or cd-roms are loaned to the customer for Theory Test practice then they must be returned on demand and in good condition or the Customer will be charged the full retail price.
If the Customer is under 18 then the Parent or Guardian agrees to accept responsibility for these Terms and Conditions and to guarantee against any default by the Customer.
The Instructor may cancel Driving Lessons if he/she considers that the road / weather conditions are too dangerous. The Instructor will endeavour
to give the Customer as much notice as possible and will re-arrange the lesson at the earliest opportunity.
If the Instructor has to cancel a lesson due to illness, car breakdown etc then he/she will endeavour to re-arrange lessons at the earliest available time.
The Customer accepts that the Instructor may have to re-arrange lessons to accommodate Driving Tests for other Customers.
The Driving School and Instructor will endeavour to provide the Customer with a car for the Driving Test, preferably the same car that has been used for lessons.
Lisa Ann’s Driving School and the Instructor cannot be held responsible for tests cancelled by the DSA. Lisa Ann’s Driving School
is not responsible for the Customer attending DSA Tests at the wrong time / date or with the wrong documentation.
The car provided by the Driving School or the Instructor will be in good mechanical order, taxed, insured, mot’d and fitted with dual controls.
If the Customer wishes to use their own car for lessons and tests then it is the Customers responsibility to ensure that the car provided is fit for the purpose intended and is legally roadworthy.
The Customer agrees to pay the agreed price for his/her lessons or driving course on demand. Failure to do so may result in the lessons/ course being cancelled and steps taken to recover any money owed.
Lisa Ann’s Driving School or the Instructor will at no time be liable for any loss or damage or any event which is out of the control of Lisa ann’s Driving School or the Instructor.
Lisa Ann’s Driving School will at all times comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and will not pass the Customers details on to any third party unless required to do so by law.
